Founded in 2013, Ann Nisbet Studio is an award-winning Scottish architecture practice working across Scotland and the wider UK. The studio has developed a particular reputation for rural and island architecture, creating thoughtful, sustainable buildings informed by landscape, local history, climate and the people who use them. Its work has received numerous RIAS and RIBA awards, including the Andrew Doolan Award for Best Building in Scotland.

We wanted the new identity to reflect the same sensitivity to place, materials and detail. At its heart is a circular monogram with a subtly weathered character, balanced by a refined all-caps serif and calm, minimal layouts with plenty of space. A muted palette, informed by tactile materials and the colours of the Scottish landscape, brings warmth to the system. Together, these elements create an identity that feels crafted and characterful, with a quiet confidence that allows the architecture to remain at the forefront.
